Toda a Gente Faz Falta (Everybody is needed) is the title of a film by screenwriter Lina da Paz.
It captures the experience of the folklore group of the Casa do Povo de Santo António das Areias, in Marvão in the Alto Alentejo. It is about a group of people who come together with a common desire not to let the culture and identity of a community fall into oblivion. In an age where the detachment from human essence is spreading every second.

Toda a Gente Faz Falta (Everybody is needed) is the film that brings us home.

We all have a lot to learn from each other and our connections run much deeper than we realise. The more examples we have of these interconnections, the better we can look after ourselves, others and, of course, planet earth with an enormous sense of compassion.
